AI Workflow & Automation Design

Design and build of AI-enabled post-sale workflows - handoffs, risk triage, QBR prep, renewal readiness, and reporting - with people kept on every customer-facing decision.

The problem

  • CSMs spend a large share of their week assembling information - call notes, usage reports, ticket history - instead of acting on it.
  • Leadership has bought, or is being pitched, an AI tool, but nobody has mapped which post-sale workflows it should actually change.
  • Risk signals sit in product, support, and billing systems that never talk to each other, so churn is discovered at renewal instead of months earlier.

When it's appropriate

  • The core operating model is sound enough that automating it won't just speed up a broken process.
  • You want more coverage and earlier risk detection from the team you already have, before adding headcount.
  • You want AI applied to specific, measurable workflows - not a general 'AI strategy' deck.

What's included

  • Workflow mapping and time study across onboarding, adoption, risk, renewal, support, and reporting
  • Prioritization of the two or three workflows with the clearest return and data readiness
  • Workflow design with explicit human checkpoints on every customer-facing or forecast-changing step
  • Build and pilot on your existing CRM, support desk, CS platform, and approved AI tools
  • Documentation, training, and handoff to an internal owner, with a baseline and success measure for each workflow

What's not included

  • Fully autonomous customer communication without human review
  • Software licensing, or procurement of new AI platforms (a vendor-neutral recommendation is included where relevant)
  • A guaranteed headcount reduction or a specific GRR or NRR outcome

Typical outputs

  • A prioritized post-sale automation map
  • Two to three production workflows running on your stack
  • Runbooks and an internal owner for each workflow
  • Baseline and success measures to decide what to automate next

Likely timeline

Typically 4 to 8 weeks for the first workflows, depending on data readiness.

Most engagements start with a short conversation about what's actually happening, not a service selection.
